Care guide

Denim
Temperature (and mood) swings and even +2 cm in the waist - denim, like a loyal friend, will forgive you everything. And if you care properly, it will stay with you for a lifetime - denim "ages" beautifully and gains a vintage vibe over the years.

Specific features:

1. You may notice a slight odor of dye from new denim products - this is ok for dyed material. After a few washes, the odor will go away. To speed up the process, use your favourite perfumed product - gel, conditioner or granules.
2. Dark denim can tarnish light coloured clothes, shoes or bags. After two or three washes, this feature disappears.
3. Over time, denim can slightly change color or its intensity and acquire buffies. This does not affect the characteristics of the product, but only gives it a specific CHOUX vibe.

Care guide:

1. Before washing, turn the product inside out and fasten the button and zipper;
2. In the absence of visible dirt, it is optimal to wash denim two or three times a season on a delicate mode at a temperature not more than 30°C;
3. During the first washings, do not combine light and colored clothes in order to maintain the original color of the items;
4. Exclude machine drying to preserve the durability of fibers;
5. We recommend ironing denim items at an iron temperature not exceeding 110°C. You can use a steamer;
6. Do not use products with whitening compounds and chlorine.
Leather
CHOUX works with premium quality genuine leather. It's a durable but delicate material - treat it as gently as you would your new white sneakers or Amina Muaddi shoes.

Special features:

1. There may be dyeing of light-colored items due to leather dyeing technology under rubbing and moisture exposure;
2. Leather does not stretch, so when buying make sure that the product fits loosely - otherwise there is a risk of damaging the seams. If you are in doubt about the size, you can email us at global@choux.com and we will help you to choose.

Care guide:

1. Before going out for the first time, protect the surface with a special treatment or transparent shoe cream to avoid moisture and dirt;
2. Avoid contact with chemicals, powders, acetone;
3. Use a dry soft cloth, sponge and soap solution for cleaning;
4. If you discover creases, leave the product on hangers for a couple of days. If creases remain, iron the item from the front through a cotton cloth at a temperature under 100°C;
5. Do not use a steamer;
6. Store leather goods on hangers in a dark, cool place, avoiding sunlight;
6. If it gets wet, absorb the moisture from the product with a soft cloth and allow it to dry naturally at room temperature.
Cotton
Cotton is like a perfect boyfriend - reliable, comfortable and non-irritating. It can deal with moisture and high temperatures, which means it will stand up to your hottest outfits.

Care guide:

1. Separate dark, light and colored items when washing;
2. Wash cotton items at a temperature not exceeding 40°C on the delicate mode to avoid color migration and shrinkage:
3. Turn printed items inside out before ironing;
4. Store white cotton clothes in a dark place to avoid formation of yellow marks.
Suede
People who put on suede clothes and walk around calmly all day, how do you do it? To those who can not stop constantly stroking the soft pile, there are no questions. In order to extend the tactile fashion satisfaction of suede items, follow simple rules.

Care guide:

1. Before the first wear, treat the product with a special water-repellent spray - especially collars and cuffs;
2. Use special brushes to lift the pile and keep it soft;
3. Keep your suede clothes in a dry, dark place. By the way, we give jackets in our branded wardrobe trunks - we recommend to store suede items in them;
4. Dry dirt can be removed with an ordinary white eraser.
Coats
CHOUX coats are made of 100% wool and some models are supplemented with silk or fur. This is a real investment in your closet: modern cut and natural materials will allow the coat to last for years.

Care guide:

1. After snow or rain, dry your coat well - shake off the drops, put it on wide hanger and leave it for a few hours in a well-ventilated room.
2. At the end of the season, take the coat to a dry cleaner. Ask about working with hydrocarbon solvents - they work effectively and gently with wool.
3. Remove dust and lint clumps with sticky tape rollers and pilling machine.
4. Instead of an iron, use a steamer at a temperature not exceeding 110°C. Steam the coat down the pile.
5. In the off-season, store the coat on the hangers in a wardrobe trunk (we give them as a gift when buying outerwear) and away from the light.
